Anyways, after passing my medical examination, I got an offer letter from GT Homes, a mortgage bank. I am an executive trainee in their systems control department. This is the department that ensures every transaction and events are in accordance with the mandatory steps and guidelines without any mistakes or fraudulent mishaps (I think. Lol).
Now, I was gonna divulge my salary in this post as little or as big as it is but I have been told not to for reasons I still don't understand. Nonetheless, please, do not hesitate to ask me in private if you are really curious and interested in what entry level staff make within this sector.
As for the dress code, it's no surprise that you have to wear shirts Mondays to Thursdays, tucked into a pair of pants or a skirt. You can also wear pants or skirt suits but I'm not a big fan of being restrained by such serious attires but as time goes by, I might find some fancy, non-heavily layered suits. On Fridays, you dress business casual and you are also allowed to wear traditional attires. You are never allowed to wear sleeveless blouses or gowns. Of course not heavily iced or jeweled out, no dreadlocks, no bright colored suits, no other crazy hairstyles and what else????? No bright colored footwear ever and no sandals from Mondays to Thursdays.
Work starts at 8am and ends at 5pm but no one ever really leaves work at closing and I have a feeling my department would close a little later than other ones because we are tasked with going over every event and transactions that occur on a daily basis looking for errors and inappropriateness.
Gthomes... What can I say? A bunch of good peeps. I was warmly welcomed and I was pampered throughout the day. However, idleness almost killed me. I learned a few things that I would need to know and tomorrow, the work begins. I can't wait!
Oh! Remember that company where I had the nightmare interview? They sent me a text inviting me for the next stage. Womp!
